Weddings
Puslinch House can host up to 120 guests, offering a truly elegant and personal setting for your special day. For smaller, intimate weddings, the drawing room provides a stunning space for both your ceremony and wedding breakfast. Recently refurbished, it features beautiful French doors that open onto the walled gardens, creating a seamless connection between the house and the surrounding countryside.If you prefer, you can exchange your vows outdoors, surrounded by the tranquil beauty of our gardens and the breathtaking Devon landscape.
Your drinks reception can be hosted in the charming front hall, which opens onto the front lawns, offering a relaxed and inviting space for your guests to mingle. For weddings with over 50 guests, there are several wonderful options for your ceremony: the drawing room can comfortably seat 80 guests, or, if the day is fine, the lawns provide a naturally picturesque backdrop. For your reception, a marquee can be elegantly set up on the back lawns, perfectly complementing the house and gardens while preserving the stunning views.
Elopements
For elopements, we offer beautifully curated mid-week celebrations designed for couples who prefer something intimate, relaxed, and deeply personal. Your time at Puslinch House is entirely yours — whether you choose to exchange vows in the elegant Drawing Room, within the walled gardens, or beneath the trees overlooking the peaceful Devon Yealm Valley.
Afterwards, wander the gardens together or simply pause to absorb the stillness of the Devon countryside. Enjoy canapés and a seasonal wedding breakfast prepared by one of our recommended caterers, followed by a beautifully crafted cake to complete your day. Every detail is thoughtfully cared for, allowing you to relax and savour the quiet joy of your celebration in this timeless setting.

We offer the flexibility to select from a variety of exceptional catering companies, ensuring you’re not limited to a single option. The same freedom applies to your bar selection, as we do not charge any corkage fees. Upon booking, we provide a curated list of our trusted suppliers handpicked by our experienced wedding manager over the years. You can even schedule a private tasting at Puslinch to preview your menu before your special day.

We are licensed to host civil ceremonies, or we can welcome local celebrants to officiate your special day. Choose from a variety of beautiful spaces, from our elegant drawing room. And if the weather is on our side, why not celebrate in the charm of our walled gardens?

Depending on the size of your wedding party, we can comfortably accommodate up to 50 guests in the Drawing Room. For larger celebrations, we can hire a marquee to host up to 120 guests. For smaller, more intimate gatherings, we offer a variety of charming spaces, including the Greenhouse, the Drawing Room, and the Dining Room.

Overnight Stays
Just a stone’s throw away, our charming Ashcombe Farmhouse offers a cosy retreat for up to 10 guests. For a more unique experience, we can arrange luxury glamping on site through a highly recommended provider. Alternatively, Yealmpton village, located nearby, offers a variety of charming bed and breakfasts, and we are happy to provide further recommendations to suit your needs.
